The registration will collect the following information: Player Name, 2026-27 USA Hockey Confirmation Number, Parent Name, Address, Phone Numbers, Emails, School Grade, School, Last Organization Played For, Number of Years Previously Played (for most Beginners this will be 0), Emergency Contact Info, Medical Insurance Provider & Number and Where You Heard about the Blues Program.

Beginners/Learn to Skate and Pre-Mite/IP/Learn to Play Hockey players will receive a Timbits Jersey to keep. Game Jerseys for Jamborees must be returned at the end of the Season (player names or other markings mayNOT be added to the Jamboree Jerseys unless they can be completely removed).
Loaner Equipment for Beginners/Learn to Skate Program participants:
Identify if your child will need Loaner equipment as part of registration.
Unfortunately the Geneseo/Livingston Blues organization can not provide equipment for children in the Pre-Mite/IP/Learn to Play Hockey Program. The Blues loan these sets to help new players get started skating assuming the players will love it (and most do!!), then the family has the Beginner/LTS season to acquire used or new equipment for their Hockey Player before they move to a higher level Program or Team. Play It Again Sports has a lot of Used Equipment available for sale although it may take several trips to fully outfit your child as their stock changes thruout the year.
Contact LTS/LTP Coach Lee Sargent for more information about the Loaner Equipment at beginnerhockeyblues@gmail.com
COSTS: Parents will have the option to pay the whole amount or select the payment plan. We urge parents to register their child early to take maximum advantage of the payment plan. If you wait until after the payment plan dates, then the deposit and any past payments will be due at registration.

Most skaters in this program have completed the Beginner/Learn to Skate Program or another similar program.
This program is primarily for skaters in the 2020 & 2021 birthyears. Younger and older players will not be able to participate in the Cross Ice Jamborees scheduled roughly once per month starting in November. The coaches may try to organize some additional scrimmages so all may participate. Older players benefit from practicing twice a week so they can transition to a Team faster. Older players are strongly encouraged to register for the 8U or 10U Team Programs as both have lower level teams geared to those with less experience once they have the skating skills. Contact the Registrar at jrbarreca@gmail.com or Coach Lee Sargent at beginnerhockeyblues@gmail.com if you have questions about Pre-Mite/IP vs an 8U or 10U Team.
