2024-25 Age Ranges

18U: 2006 - 2007 16U: 2008-2009 (EAHC 18U teams are 2006 to 2009) Coach Lee Blum

14U: 2010 - 2011 birthyears Coach John Alford

12U: 2012 - 2013 birthyears Coach Dan Craun

10U: 2014 - 2015 birthyears (NOTE: USA Hockey does not allow underage 2016's to play 10u) Coach Jason Molino The Blues anticipate forming two teams and are working on a 2nd HC.

8U: 2016 - 2017 birthyears (2018 may play 8U if they have completed IP) Coach Brian Hubacher. Blues anticipate having several teams and more coaches will be announced when teams are formed in Sept.

6U/IP: 2018 - 2019 birthyears, 2015-2017 may register for IP but can't play in 6U Jamborees

Beginners: 2014 thru 2021 birthyears

Additional teams will be formed at all levels if enough players are registered to roster a team.

8U, Learn to Skate and IP/Learn to Play Programs

Please register for the 24-25 season when registration opens in May. Evals for 8U will be held in September.

Save The Date: Tryouts/Evals

Players should attend at least one (preferably both!) of the sessions for their birthyear. We recommend pre-registration. $10 fee to cover the cost of ice. Collected during pre-registration or paid in cash at the check-in table.

10U & 12U: Tryouts/Evals are completed. If you missed them and are interested in playing, please contact Jason Molino (see coaching application to the left)

4/18 & 4/19: 14U (birthyears 2010 & 2011) & 18U/16U (birthyears 2006-2009)

4/18: 7pm 14U, 8pm 16/18U

4/19: 7:40pm 14U, 8:40pm 16/18U

Board Meeting and Nominations Sunday 4/28

(Tentative date, need to confirm the room) The Geneseo Livingston Blues Board will be meeting at 7 PM at the Watershed Education Center 5828 Big Tree Rd Lakeville NY 14480. The board will be accepting nominations for the following positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Registrar, Equipment Manager and 2 Members At Large. All nominations must be made in person at this meeting and accepted in person at this meeting. Please consider joining the board, we need you!

No one from the Livingston Blues will EVER ask you to purchase gift cards on behalf of the board or club. Please immediately delete any messages that ask you to do this (or anything similar) as they are SPAM.

Unfortunately most of the orgs in Rochester (and elsewhere) seem to get these emails at least once per season.

As a reminder, all hockey payments are either made via our secure website -OR- by check mailed to the Livingston Blues PO Box.

Yoo-hoo Blues Nation weekend wrap up here!!!!

- Our learn to skate/beginners program is on the go… sure to bring up some next level players!! We are so excited to watch them grow!!!

- The mighty mites took the ice today and looked strong as always!!

- 10U had a tough loss today from rivals Webster … we will get ‘em’ next time team, Chins up!!! You’ve got this!!!!

- 12u took the ice today with a hard loss to RJA … next time the tables will turn … go get ‘em’!!

- 14u had a double header this week that both ended in ties … Go Blues!!

In other news …

Laker Backers Varsity took the ice with a loss against the tough Spartians

Lacker Backers JV also took the ice working thru several sick players and had a tough loss against Canandaigua

Welcome to the Geneseo Livingston Blues Hockey website. We provide hockey programs and teams for youth from ages 3 to 18. Registration is closed for the 2023-24 season.  Please contact the Registrar Jeanne Barreca jrbarreca@gmail.com to inquire about opportunities as pro rated opportunities in our Beginner program may be available and some teams have openings. Our season will begin in September or October (depending on program) of 2023 and run thru March of 2024.
